Since Facebook bought Instagram and did away with chronology as we know it, legions of savvy grammers have sought ways to undermine their algorithmic overlords. But with data constantly readjusting to fight their efforts, how successful can these online vigilantes really be?
Enter InstaPods. Named after a pod of dolphins – who protect and support each other in the vast and scary ocean – pods are groups of instagrammers that work together by commenting and liking each other’s posts in an effort to have those posts consistently appear in their (and their friends’) feeds. More looks, more likes, more cred.
