The Most Expensive Starbucks Drink you could order

mai 28, 2014

We all know that Starbucks can be quite the pricey place to go for a coffee. But this guy really knows how to make that all worth while.

Starbucks has a customer loyalty program that offers those who have reached ‘Gold Member’ status 1 free drink for every 12 stars earned on one’s account. This free drink can be any type of drink; Hot, Cold, Blended, Steamed, Grande, Venti, Non-fat, Extra Caramel… you name it they’ll make it.

A man from Dallas, Texas has recently taken full advantage of his free reward drink by ordering a Sexagintuple Vanilla Bean Mocha Frappuccino.

Included in this custom frappuccino were:

  • 60 shots of espresso
  • Mocha
  • White Mocha
  • Whipped Cream Topping
  • Mocha Drizzle
  • Caramel Drizzle
  • Hazelnut drizzle
  • Protein Powder

This heart stopping concoction would have cost him $54.75 (The highest priced coffee order at Starbucks to date), but was all conveniently discounted to $0.00.

For all of those who are reading this and thinking they’d love to try this out for themselves… I would highly suggest that you go with something that won’t give you diabetes or a heart attack if you were to drink it. The man who ordered this drink admitted that he was unable to finish it all at one time.

And keep in mind that the man planned ahead and brought in his own cup for the frappuccino; otherwise there is no way that all espresso and drizzle could in your typical Starbucks to-go cup.

So the next time you’re at a Starbucks, get a little creative and see what combination you can come up with.
