Some KWD FAQs
How much is a website?
Pricing a website can be tough to do initially, and can vary depending on a lot of options. At Kelowna Website Design our pricing generally ranges from $1500 to $5000 for our average client. If you want something with a lot more customizations, features, e-commerce, apps, then obviously this will drive the price up. We always try to give our clients the absolute best deal, while also giving a quality, professional website.
Do I need to rebuild my current site, or can we just update it?
This is a very common question, and the answer is on a case to case basis. If you have a great site already, but want updates, generally we can help without too much major code adjustments. However, we take security and design seriously, so if there is a situation where we are best off rebuilding, we will usually offer you that option as well, it's up to you!
Do you offer hosting?
We have hosting servers right here in Kelowna, and they are some of the fastest around. We offer dedicated support, and include updates, malware, security, and virus protection for every website that we build. This is important for us, and for your clients.
I have a great idea for an app or website, where do I start?
We would love for you to sit down with one of our full stack developers and flush out your idea. We can help you decide if it's an idea worth chasing, or if maybe it needs some refinement. Either way, we are here to help.
I built my website with Wixx, Square Space or GoDaddy and now want help making it show up in search engines.
We create a great blog on this topic, have a read here. TLDR; Generally speaking it is best to have a professional build and maintain your website, but exceptions apply.
