SnapChat Claps Back

June 19, 2017

Imitation is the truest form of flattery, and the surest way to make money off of something that’s working. Poor SnapChat has been struggling this fiscal year: Facebook and Instagram copy and ship every feature that made the application exciting to users. Banking on their already-established audiences and habits, Facebook and Instagram’s Snap-Like features (Live and Stories, respectively) have caused enormous drop-offs from Snapchat’s usership.

In an effort to pump some life into their flagging stock numbers, SnapChat has announced an Ads Manager. The Manager basically makes it simpler for clients to buy, manage, optimize, and view analytics about campaigns – especially interesting to the Social Media Manager who isn’t in the middle of their GED.
