How to create a Facebook Business Account

Facebook is one of the most popular social media platforms in the world and is an excellent tool for businesses to reach their target audience. In order to create ads on Facebook, you’ll first need to create a business account and an ad account.

Creating a business account on Facebook is easy and takes just a few minutes. Here’s how:

  1. Go to business.facebook.com and click “Create Account.” (Picture above)
  2. Enter your business name and click “Continue.”
  3. Enter your business email address and create a password for your account.
  4. Click “Submit.”
  5. Verify your email adress or click “Done”.

Once you have a business account, you can create an ad account by following these steps:

  1. Go to business.facebook.com/latest/settings/ad_accounts.
  2. Click on +Add on the right of the page.
  3. Click on “Create a new Ad Account”.
  4. Fill out the form with your ad account information, including your currency and time zone.
  5. Click “Next” and then click “Create Ad Account”.

It’s that simple! With your business account and ad account set up, you’re ready to start creating ads for your business on Facebook. To get the best results, make sure to target your ads to your specific audience and keep testing different ad formats and targeting options.

Once you have a business account with an Ad account, you can add your Facebook page by following these steps:

  1. Go to business.facebook.com/latest/settings/pages.
  2. Click on +Add on the right of the page.
  3. Click on “Add an existing Facebook Page”.
  4. Fill out the form with your Facebook Page name or URL.
  5. Click “Next” and then click “Done”.

Please also note that you have to have your own Facebook account to create a business account and ad account. you may also need to connect it to your Facebook page. And also make sure that you are eligible to run ads in your location and comply with the terms of Facebook Advertising policy.

You can now, add People to your business account.

  1. Go to business.facebook.com/latest/settings/business_users.
  2. Click on +Invite people on the right of the page.
  3. Add their email adress. Click next. Give access to assets the person will need to have access to (common are page and ad account)
  4. Review the invitation and click Next.
  5. Click “Done”.
