The new snow shoe does not look like you would expect it to. Colorado based Crescent Moon have in fact made the world’s first all-foam version and it looks, kind of, like a flip-flop. Weird, you might think,but the combination of cleats and tire-like treads actually provide ample traction, especially on hardpack trails. The company’s cofounder Jake Thamm even says it doesn’t matter if you’re the snow shoeing type or not, this will change your mind. Worth a try?
