Hackathons: 24 gruelling hours of ideation, execution, and presentation. Participants are placed in teams and tasked with creating a product from start-to-finish, with the most useful and innovative products taking home the prize at the end of the day. Literally at the end of the day. Hackathons are non-stop: the team eats, drinks, and avoids sleep all together.
New York hosts one of the largest Hackathons in the world, combining the actual competition with a slew of speakers and events. Can’t afford a last minute red-eye? Keep up with the action with the event’s official livestream.
